Saksham Scholarship is a CSR initiative by Mahindra Finance. Under this initiative, scholarships will be provided to children of drivers (light motor vehicles such as passenger cars, school vans etc. and light commercial vehicles such as pickup/magic etc.) whose annual family income is less than ₹ 3 lakhs. There will be a due-diligence and selection process for awarding these scholarships.

Applicants must fulfill all the criteria listed below. (Please note: Maximum 2 children from a family can receive the scholarship.)

Upto Grade 7 Grade 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, Graduation and Post-Graduation
Applicant is currently a student in school (grades 1-7)

One of the parents is a driver (LMV or LCV) and holds a valid driving license

The annual family income is less than or equal to ₹ 3 Lakh

The applicant’s school is in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat

Applicant is currently a student in school (grades 8-12) or college (graduation/post-graduation in arts, science, or commerce or equivalent. Students pursuing professional courses like Pharmacy, Engineering, Diplomas, MBBS, Law etc. are not eligible to apply)

One of the parents is a driver (LMV or LCV) and holds a valid driving license

The annual family income is less than or equal to ₹ 3 Lakh

The applicant’s school or college is in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Telangana or Tamil Nadu

Applicant has passed last year’s grade with minimum 60% score

• All application forms will be assessed, and eligible students will be shortlisted
• The organizers will conduct a due diligence of the applications and scrutinize the submitted forms. Organizers may contact the students for clarifications or additional documents if required.
• Selection of students for scholarship
• All shortlisted students currently studying in grades 5-10 who clear the screening will be selected for the scholarship on a first-come-first-served basis.
• All shortlisted students currently studying in grade 11 to final year of post-graduation will undergo an online interview and the finalists will be selected for the scholarship
• The scholarship money will be transferred to the bank account of the student
