What is Muskaan Scholarship?

Muskaan Scholarship is a CSR initiative by Valvoline and Cummins. Under this initiative, scholarships will be provided to children of drivers (holding Valid HMV., LMV and AWT, ARTW) or Mechanic or whose annual family income is less than ₹ 8 lakhs. There will be a due-diligence and selection process for awarding these scholarships.



To be Eligible.

a. Applicant must be studying in class 9-12.
b. Applicant must has attained 60% or above marks in last class.
c. Applicant parent profession can be Mechanic, Driver or EWS.



Are students enrolled in Diploma courses or those who have cleared Class XII exam or equivalent in the preceding years eligible to apply?

No. Only those students who are studying in class 9 - 12 during the current academic year are eligible to apply.

What benefits will I receive, if selected for this scholarship?

Once student gets selected, he/she can avail scholarship upto 12000/- in the current academic year. Selected students can avail this scholarship till they cleared class 12th. But each year they have to score at least 60 percentage.



Do I have to make any payments?

No! You do not have to make any payment at all for participating in this scholarship program.

What is the selection process?

• All application forms will be assessed, and eligible students will be shortlisted.
• The organizers will conduct a due diligence of the applications and scrutinize the submitted forms. Organizers may contact the students for clarifications or additional documents if required.
• All shortlisted students will undergo an online interview and the finalists will be selected for the scholarship.
• The scholarship money will be transferred to the bank account of the student, parent or guardian provided in the application form. Scholarship amount will depend on the bills submitted by the applicant while submitting the application form. A student can avail up to 12000/- rupees.

what are the documents required for the scholarship?

1. Photograph of the student: Photograph should not be older than 6 months. Make sure you upload the latest photograph

2. Proof of parent profession :

a. LMV Driving licence of Parent front and back Side (Only in case where parent profession is Driver) : Upload a clear photo of your parent's LMV or HMV or AWT Driving licence both sides Father or Mother. Applicant should not upload his/her driving licence in this option. Two wheeler licence is not eligible for scholarship.

b. Proof of mechanic (Only in case where parent profession is Mechanic ): If parent profession is mechanic, applicant has to upload a self-declaration of mechanic form available on the website.

c. Proof of EWS (Only in case where family income is less than 8 lakhs) : If parent annual income is less than 8 lakhs rupees, an applicant has to submit proof of annual income issued by Government or self-declaration form available on the website.

3. Proof of current enrolment: Please upload current class/semester proof studying in session 2023-24. It can be an ID card issued by School/College or a valid bonafide certificate issued by school/college

4. Last Year Marksheet: Student has to upload last year's final mark sheet issued by school/college. A mark sheet should have a sign and stamp of the school/college. Students uploading online result should make sure that they get it attested by school/college authority

5. Proof of Identity

c. Birth certificate

6. Educational expense receipts. (2023-24)

a. School receipt- School receipt should be signed and stamped by the school. A student should upload the current year school receipt i.e. 2023-24.

b. Uniform:- A uniform receipt should have a GST number, In case a student doesn’t have a GST receipt then the cash memo should contain the Name of the shop, Address, and phone number and also should have a sign and stamp of the shop owner.

c. Book:- A Book receipt should have a GST number, In case a student doesn’t have a GST receipt then the cash memo should contain the Name of the shop, Address, and phone number and should have a sign and stamp of the shop owner.

d. Stationery:- A stationery receipt should have a GST number, In case a student doesn’t have a GST receipt then he can upload the cash memo which should contain the Name of the shop, Address, and phone number and should have a sign and stamp of the shop owner.
